Points
are awarded from one (1) to five (5) – the first place horse receiving
the higher number. Each horse in the top five will receive additional
points for the number of horses beaten in that class, based on the total
number of horses actually shown. (ie. In a class where ten horses were
exhibited, the first place horse would receive five (5) points plus
nine (9) points for the number of horses beaten, for a total of fourteen
(14) points.
In
a class with less than five (5) entrants, points will be awarded from
one (1) to the number of horses exhibited, with the first place horse
receiving the higher number. In addition, each shall receive points
corresponding to the number of horses beaten in the class. Money earned
records are kept on file at the office.
In
order to qualify for Provincial Year End Awards, a rider must attend
half of the shows in any Show Season and competitors must have shown
in both disciplines.
