Roger Johnson starts & trains horses at his facility near Asquith, Saskatchewan (west of Saskatoon). Facilities include both an in-door & outdoor arena, individual steel pens 20 feet X 20 feet with automatic waters, and lots of open hills, creek & bush to ride so your horse comes away with some training in the "real world" too. Roger focuses on solid foundation training, beginning in the round pen with loose ground-work & then progressing to the basic riding cues with leg & voice cues. With a strong foundation, horses can go on to training for any type of discipline - including English, Jumping, Roping, etc. Roger prefers 2 - 3 year old halter-broke-only horses, but may work on re-training older horses.
