Working Cow Horse Classes are comprised of 2 parts: the dry work (reining pattern) plus the Fence-work (boxing, turning the cow on the wall & circling the cow).

2009 Jackpot Entry Information:

To pre-enter, simply phone Vicki at 306-329-8600 or email appaloosa@yourlink.ca by the pre-entry deadline, with your name, horses name & age, and the classes you want to enter. Entry Fees can be paid at the Show. *Entries for the Sept. 12 & 13 SRCHA Classic Show in Moose Jaw must be pre-paid by August 10th. See the Schedule of Events Page.

Saskatchewan Reined Cowhorse Association 2009 Membership comes with a years subscription to the Western Horse Review and/or Horse Country magazine. SRCHA News will be carried in those publications on a regular basis. The SRCHA is proud to be affiliated with these premier equine publications - Western Horse Review and Horse Country.

In 2009, SRCHA Shows will offer the two disciplines of Working Cowhorse (comprised of drywork and fence work) and Ranch Cutting. You may use different horses for the different disciplines, if you wish. Please email or call 306-329-8600 if you have any questions.

Embroidered Championship Vests & Reserve Champion Caps will be presented to competitors in the following nine categories, based on highest number of points earned at SRCHA shows in 2008, by a horse/rider combination in rider classes, and by the horse in the "horse" classes:

Youth 10-13; Youth 14-18; Novice Non-Pro Rider; Intermediate Non-Pro Rider; Open Non-Pro Rider; 3 Year Old Snaffle Bit Horse; 4 & 5 Yr Old Snaffle Bit/Hackamore Horse; Novice Bridle Horse; and Open Bridle Horse.
